about
This track was written on guitar, in one burst, in my kitchen, the day lockdown began. It was a stream of consciousness reaction to Covid19 and the situation that we all found ourselves in. It was recorded over Zoom with my friend and producer Chris Bubenzer. I had made a decision to be more honest in my songwriting and wanted to write something that was relevant to the times. This is what came out.
lyrics
The World Stops Spinning,
For a moment I can breath,
This feels like falling,
This feels like the end.
The Gards came, took my family.
Yeah, I love too much anyway,
This feels like drowning,
This feels like the Beginning.
Keep Your Head Up,
Keep Your Mind Sharp.
Keep Your Hopes in Check,
We're not Broken Split Right Open It's Not Over Yet.
My head got heavy,
My world got small.
I miss freedom most of all.
This feels like fading,
This feels like everything's changing.
Keep your Head Up,
Keep your Mind Sharp,
Keep your Hopes in Check,
W're not Broken,
Split right Open,
It's not over yet.
Dont you Believe Me ,
When I'm Bleeding
When I'm aAsking Why
Cause We're Not Broken Split Right Open,
Time to Look inside.
